Shilpa Shinde is a 40-year-old (2018) Indian Television actress. Shinde kick-off her Television career in 1999 but came into the limelight after playing a negative role in star plus show Bhabhi (2002-08). Playing roles in historical drama Amrapali (2002), Medical drama Sanjeevni (2002-2005) fortified her place in Indian Television Industry. Since she was always a very talented actress, she was too good with her coming timing. Shilpa Shinde became a household quickly after she played chartbuster sitcom Bhabhi Ji Ghar Par Hai. In 2016 Shinde famously quit the show, according to her, she was having many issues with makers.Shilpa Shinde has also worked in a couple of Telugu films Dasari Narayana Rao's Chhina and Suresh Verma's Shivani.

She studied psychology at K.C College Mumbai but failed to get her bachelor’s degree. She wanted to be an actress but her father wants her to study law.
